\n\tThe school\u2019s new president, Jason S. Schupbach, began his tenure after the retirement of Dr. Joyce F. Brown, who had a nearly three-decade career at the institution.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cI believe that FIT, as a laboratory for creative careers for the 21st century, finds its greatest opportunities in collaboration across disciplines, across schools and through building meaningful partnerships with industry. I look forward to working with the FIT community to build on that incredible foundation and open even more pathways for academic rigor, entrepreneurship, innovation and student success,\u201d Schupbach said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\n\tHailing from Drexel University, where he was the dean of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, he \u201cled the college to success in fundraising, rankings, scholarly output, enrollment and faculty, staff and student support,\u201d according to FIT. Prior to that, he directed the Design School at Arizona State University.<\/p>\n
