Last month, Brooklyn shared an explosive online statement aimed at his parents \u2013 football icon David and former Spice Girl Victoria \u2013 accusing them of \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin\u201d his relationship with Peltz, whom he married in 2022.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s since been claimed by DJ Fat Tony, who was present at the wedding, that singer Anthony was the one who called Victoria to the stage in place of Peltz and referred to the former as \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room\u201d, inviting her to dance with the groom. DJ Tony claimed the remark \u201cdevastated\u201d Brooklyn and sent Peltz out of the room in tears.<\/p>\n
Brooklyn alleged that Victoria \u201chijacked\u201d his first dance with his wife and \u201cdanced very inappropriately\u201d on him in front of everyone. He added in his Instagram statement: \u201cI\u2019ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.\u201d <\/p>\n
Speaking about the feud for the first time, Anthony said it\u2019s \u201cextremely unfortunate\u201d how the situation has \u201cplayed out\u201d, but added that what has been claimed is \u201chardly the truth\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family,\u201d he told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>. <\/p>\n\u201cThey\u2019re a wonderful, wonderful family. I\u2019ve known them since before the kids were born. I\u2019m godfather to Cruz. I\u2019m really close to the family. But I have nothing to say about what happened there.\u201d<\/p>\n

What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage.<\/p>\n\u201cBrooklyn went onto the stage, and the next minute everyone\u2019s expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage \u2013 and then he says, \u2018Victoria, come to the stage\u2019.<\/p>\n
He added that Brooklyn was \u201cliterally devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife, then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out\u201d.<\/p>\n
DJ Tony continued: \u201cBrooklyn is stuck there on stage, and they do this dance, and Marc Anthony says \u2018put your hands on your mother\u2019s hips\u2019 and it was a Latin thing, and the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room.\u201d<\/p>\n
