\n\tLIM College will hold its annual student-produced fashion show on April 10 at 6 p.m. at The Glasshouse at 660 12th Avenue in Manhattan.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmazon Fashion is joining this year as presenting sponsor of the show, and WWD is returning for the second year as exclusive media partner.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe LIM College Fashion Show is planned, produced and executed entirely by students. This year\u2019s theme is \u201cGlobal Fashion Fusion,\u201d a recognition of diverse cultures, fashions and styles showcasing how global influences shape modern fashion.<\/p>\n

\n\tLIM College is now part of Japan Educational Foundation, a global portfolio of higher education institutions. The runway looks will reflect a wide range of cultures and geographies, including creations from the school\u2019s New York students as well as designs by recent graduates of ESMOD France, also a member of the JEF global network. Founded in 1841, ESMOD is the world\u2019s oldest fashion school and a global pioneer in fashion education.<\/p>\n

\n\tWork in fashion design, animation and gaming done by students at JEF colleges in Japan will also be displayed at the fashion show venue.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGlobal fluency, professional polish and worldwide networking connections are among the essentials in launching a career in fashion today,\u201d said LIM College president Ron Marshall. \u201cThis year\u2019s fashion show is just an example of how we are expanding students\u2019 creative and professional horizons by reflecting a global view and showcasing student work from other institutions within JEF.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJenny Freshwater, vice president of Amazon Fashion and Fitness, said: \u201cAmazon Fashion is excited to work with LIM and support a new generation of professionals as they prepare to enter the global fashion industry.
