The interior decorator, 37, who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014 and Hashimoto\u2019s disease in 2017, hosted No Demo Reno<\/em>, which aired from 2021 to 2023, with her husband, Mike Todryk.<\/p>\nShe said in a video posted last week that her bloodwork from October 2025 revealed her antibodies number was at 5,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s just measuring your body\u2019s inflammation, and it\u2019s the only marker that tells you [if] you have Hashimoto\u2019s or not,\u201d Todryk said Tuesday in an Instagram Story series. \u201cThe number is supposed to be zero.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added, \u201cSo, if you know someone that says, \u2018I have Hashimoto\u2019s,\u2019 she literally could have an antibodies measure of 20 or 35. That could be considered Hashimoto\u2019s. I have 5,000. So, not to brag, but I\u2019m really bad. I have a very chronic case of Hashimoto\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former HGTV host Jenn Todryk has shared a health update on her Hashimoto\u2019s disease (HGTV)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nHashimoto\u2019s is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the thyroid gland. The condition causes symptoms like fatigue, weight gain and sensitivity to cold.<\/p>\n
Todryk said that her more recent antibody test had more positive results than the one in October, showing that her antibody count dropped from 5,000 to 257. She credited the improvement to cutting her supplement intake to just two products: a hormone pill called Armour Thyroid and a hormone supplement called Glow by Beam, which she co-created.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think what happened is around Christmas time, I lowered my Armour Thyroid a little bit naturally by myself, because I felt like I was maybe swinging into hyper[thyroidism], which happens with cellular Hashimoto\u2019s,\u201d she said in the video. \u201cI think that, along with taking Glow every day, significantly helped.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added, \u201cI still can\u2019t believe it. I\u2019ve never had a good result. So, it\u2019s like, I don\u2019t know how to describe it. It\u2019s, like, something I dread doing. I\u2019m constantly failing. I\u2019m constantly getting bad news.\u201d<\/p>\n
The former TV host previously opened up about her Hashimoto\u2019s diagnosis in a September episode of her podcast, You, Me & Mike<\/em>, where she said she gets sick often and is constantly struggling with inflammation.<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s a part of my identity. It\u2019s part of my every single day,\u201d she told her husband and podcast co-host Mike Todryk at the time. \u201cI think about me having Hashimoto\u2019s every single day. There\u2019s not a day that goes by where I don’t remember that I have this thyroid autoimmune disorder.\u201d<\/p>\n
Todryk, a mom-of-three who is also known for sharing home renovation content with her two million followers on Instagram, ultimately decided to leave No Demo Reno<\/em> so she could focus on spending time with her family.<\/p>\nThe show saw Todryk work with clients in creating \u201cbeautiful renovations with no demolition required,\u201d according to HGTV.<\/p>\n
Last month, she shared an Instagram post reflecting on her decision to quit the series after three seasons. With a throwback picture of her on set with her daughter, she wrote, \u201cI do think I chose to walk away at the perfect time.
