This week, the coffee chain announced its latest slate of seasonal snacks and beverages, set to hit stores May 12.<\/p>\n
The lineup includes a new addition to the Starbucks refresher menu: the Tropical Butterfly. The drink offers a \u201cbright flavor fusion of passionfruit and guava flavors,\u201d alongside mango-pineapple flavored pearls and a splash of butterfly pea flower infusion, according to a press release. <\/p>\n
Starbucks will also bring back its Mexican-style horchata, but for only a limited time. The fan-favorite drink is made with Starbucks Blonde Espresso and horchata syrup, topped with oat milk and served over ice. This year, the flavor will also be offered in a Frappuccino blended beverage.<\/p>\n
Customers will also see the return of the chain\u2019s beloved Unicorn Cake Pop, which has become a recurring seasonal item following its 2021 introduction. The sweet treat features vanilla cake mixed with confetti sprinkles and dipped in white chocolate icing, decorated with a unicorn face. <\/p>\n

The summer menu includes the new Tropical Butterfly Refresher (Starbucks)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nAside from menu items, Starbucks announced a new line of merchandise coming this summer, titled the Road Trip Collection. Inspired by summer vacations and adventures, the collection includes seasonal mugs, tumblers, a canvas mini tote bag and a foldable picnic blanket, among other items.<\/p>\n
In addition, Starbucks is launching a drinkware and lifestyle collection with Miffy, the popular cartoon rabbit created in 1955 by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. The collection, set to launch May 19, will \u201ccapture Miffy\u2019s playful curiosity and gentle charm,\u201d as noted by Starbucks\u2019s press release. <\/p>\n

Starbucks will add a Horchata Frappuccino blended beverage to its summer menu (Starbucks)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nStarbucks has continuously added to its menu, whether because of the change in season or to keep up with pop culture trends. Last month, the company launched a secret menu item to celebrate Hannah Montana<\/em>\u2019s 20th anniversary special, which came out March 24 on Disney +.<\/p>\nCustomers had the opportunity to order the refresh variation on the mobile app or by repeating the recipe in person: a grande Strawberry Acai Refresher with raspberry cold foam, two pumps of raspberry syrup and no strawberry inclusions.<\/p>\n
