The snack first hit shelves in June 2025 and quickly became a fan-favorite nationwide, with the brand saying in a Tuesday press release that the old-fashioned donuts have seen \u201cexceptional retail performance, consistently selling out as consumers embraced the combination of nostalgic texture and modern convenience.\u201d <\/p>\n
Now, Little Debbie is offering a special spin on the sweet treat, with the arrival of Chocolate Old Fashioned Donuts. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe saw an incredible response to the Old Fashioned Donut we introduced last year,\u201d Scott Brownlow, Little Debbie Brand manager, said in a statement. \u201cWe’re doubling down on what works and giving both loyalists and new fans an irresistible reason to head back to the store.\u201d<\/p>\n
The new baked good has golden-brown ridges, a moist, crumbly texture and sweet signature glaze, just like the original old-fashioned cake donut, but with a chocolate flavor.<\/p>\n

Little Debbie launched the Chocolate Old Fashioned Donuts after the success of the original flavor (McKee Foods)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nLittle Debbie is launching the chocolate donuts in two on-the-go formats, including The Big Pack Carton with six Chocolate Old Fashioned Donuts and the Single-Serve Offering with a three-ounce individually wrapped donut. The donuts can be purchased through various online retailers or at grocery stores nationwide. <\/p>\n
Since launching in 1960, Little Debbie, produced by McKee Foods, has been known for its individually wrapped snacks, including Oatmeal Creme Pies, Honey Buns, Cosmic Brownies, Swiss Rolls, Zebra Cakes and Nutty Buddy Bars. <\/p>\n
The Chocolate Old Fashion Donut is just one of the new sweets that Little Debbie has introduced this year. Earlier this month, the brand launched Soft Baked Cookies available in two individually wrapped flavors: Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter.<\/p>\n

Walmart\u2019s private-label line, Great Value, will be undergoing changes as the retailer tries to modernize how the budget grocery staple looks and feels both in stores and online.<\/p>\n
The changes will affect nearly 10,000 food and household products, with a gradual rollout planned over the next two years. Customers will first see the updated packaging on salty snack products, the company announced this week.<\/p>\n
A large focus of the redesign is making products easier to understand at a glance. Walmart is updating packaging so key details, such as protein content, nutrition facts and dietary labels like gluten-free, are easier to find quickly.
