Portman, 44, who has been dating the French musician, 45, since March 2025, shares her two other children \u2014 son Aleph, 14 and daughter Amalia, 9 \u2014 with her ex-husband, <\/strong>Benjamin Millepied. <\/p>\n\u201cTanguy and I are very excited,\u201d the Oscar-winning Black Swan <\/em>actor told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m just very grateful. I know it\u2019s such a privilege and a miracle.<\/p>\nPortman, the daughter of a fertility doctor, added: \u201cI grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have so many people I love who\u2019ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It\u2019s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it\u2019s also not an easy thing,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd so I know how lucky it is. I\u2019m very aware, and I\u2019m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Portman noted: \u201cThere is a gratitude that when you\u2019re young, you don\u2019t necessarily grasp. And there\u2019s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Thor: Love and Thunder <\/em>star was previously married to Millepied, a French dancer and choreographer, from 2012 to 2024. <\/p>\nPortman quietly filed for divorce in July 2023. At the time, it was reported that Millepied had engaged in an alleged affair with a 25-year-old woman named Camille \u00c9tienne.<\/p>\n
Neither has directly addressed the rumors, though Portman pushed back on coverage of her \u201cpersonal life in a very public way,\u201d previously telling People<\/em>: \u201cIt\u2019s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute.\u201d<\/p>\nPortman is not the only celebrity over 40 welcoming a baby. Aubrey Plaza, 41, is also preparing to welcome her first child with actor Christopher Abbott this fall. <\/p>\n

They feel very blessed.\u201d<\/p>\nWriting about the rising trend of older celebrities becoming pregnant in their mid-40s, The Independent<\/em>\u2019s Charlotte Cripps argued that these celebrity \u201cmiracle\u201d stories are \u201cselling a sometimes impossible dream of motherhood over 40.\u201d<\/p>\nThey \u201cmake it sound easy-peasy to be older moms and have kids later in life, but that\u2019s not always the case.
