The former James Bond star, who is currently promoting his new film The Unholy Trinity<\/em>, said: \u201c<\/strong>Keely and I love each other and are blessed to have each other as companions in this life.<\/p>\n\u201cAnd we’ve created a good life for ourselves of hard work and perseverance of life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking about the secrets to a long marriage, he told Fox News Digital<\/em>: \u201cYou know, it’s just solving one problem after the [other], whether it’s the washing machine or how far the finances are going to go or what your dreams are. But, ultimately, we just enjoy each other’s company enormously.\u201d<\/p>\nHe continued: \u201cShe’s given me wings to fly and lets me, you know, gallivant around the world here making movies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mamma Mia<\/em>!<\/em> star Pierce and Keely met in 1994 and tied the knot in Ireland in 2001. They share two sons \u2013 Dylan, 28 and Paris, 24 \u2013 and will celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary in August.<\/p>\nKeely is a former model and actor. In 2016, Keely made her directorial debut with the film Poisoning Paradise<\/em>, which looked at toxic environmental practices in Kauai, Hawaii, where the couple live for some of the year.<\/p>\n\n

In the western film The Holy Trinity<\/em>, Pierce plays Gabriel Dove, an Irish immigrant sheriff in 1870s Montana, alongside Samuel L Jackson, Brandon Lessard and David Arquette, as well as the two sons he shares with Keely \u2013 Dylan and Paris.<\/p>\nThe actor recently defended his Irish accent in the Paramount+ gangster series MobLand<\/em>, after viewers called it \u201cutterly ridiculous\u201d, even though he is actually Irish.<\/p>\nHe argued that his performance as the fictional mob boss Conrad Harrigan \u2013 who is from Kerry on Ireland\u2019s south west coast \u2013 required a broader Irish accent than his own east coast County Louth accent.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy own accent is very soft. Conrad\u2019s accent is a million miles away from me,\u201d he told Radio Times<\/em>, adding that his voice training was based on a real accent and that he worked with a dialect coach.<\/p>\n\u201cI told him that I needed a Kerry accent,\u201d he said. \u201cSo he gave me the name of a man and I Googled the guy and that was it.
