The 43-year-old talk show host agreed to get a bob haircut during Monday\u2019s episode of Today with Jenna & Friends<\/em>, which featured The<\/em> White Lotus<\/em> star Leslie Bibb and celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan as guests. Before making the change, Bush Hager\u2019s blonde hair was mid-length and fell several inches below her shoulders. <\/p>\nOn Tuesday, Bush Hager returned to the show and revealed her new, short blonde hair, alongside Bibb, who was co-hosting the episode. The change came after Bibb turned heads during season three of The White Lotus<\/em> with her look, which fans called the \u201cc***y bob.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cYou made this haircut so famous, and I used your hairstylist [McMillan], who is a star, to get the exact same haircut,\u201d Bush Hager told Bibb. \u201cAnd I\u2019m feeling a little strange.\u201d The haircut was a classic bob, with Bush Hager\u2019s hair right above her shoulders. <\/p>\n
Bush Hager also shared a video of her three children reacting to her haircut. In the clip, they were screaming in excitement and shock over the look. <\/p>\n
In the episode, the TV host also thanked Bibb for \u201cinspiring\u201d her to get the haircut. <\/p>\n
During Monday\u2019s episode of Today with Jenna & Friends<\/em>, Bibb recalled how she first encouraged Bush Hager to get the haircut. <\/p>\n\n

Bush Hager gave some background about Bibb\u2019s look, noting that her haircut on The White Lotus<\/em> \u201cinspired the country.\u201d She also confirmed that McMillan was giving her \u201cthe modern version\u201d of a bob, before sitting down in the chair.<\/p>\nAs McMillian put a salon cape on Bush Hager, Bibb quipped that the TV host was \u201cgetting rid of any baggage\u201d with her hair.<\/p>\n
\u201cBobs are like spring cleaning,\u201d McMillan, who styled Jennifer Aniston\u2019s iconic bob on Friends<\/em>, said. \u201cThere\u2019s sometimes some bad damage, bad layers. It sort of evens it up. It creates a strong perimeter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The hairstylist clarified that with a bob, your hair is \u201calways short at the nape of your neck.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cI like that you\u2019re clutching your hair, \u2018Like don\u2019t go!\u2019\u201d Bibb told Bush Hager, who had a clump of her hair in her hand.<\/p>\n
Bush Hager confessed that before the show, her daughter urged her not to cut her hair and told her she\u2019d \u201cregret it.\u201d However, as McMillan continued the haircut, Bibb told Bush Hager that it \u201clooked so pretty\u201d and \u201ccool.\u201d <\/p>\n
During an interview with Today.com before Monday\u2019s episode, McMillan said that he admired Bush Hager\u2019s \u201creally thick head of hair,\u201d so the A-line bob would look great on her. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou can slick it behind your ears, like do the tuck,\u201d he said. \u201cYou can wear it natural, you can wear it wavy.\u201dm <\/p>\n
He also said he \u201c100 percent\u201d thinks about a client’s face shape before giving them a bob. So he compared Bush Hager\u2019s face to the dimensions of his famous clients. <\/p>\n
