The matriarch of the Kardashian clan said her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner accompanied her to the procedure, while Kim Kardashian was \u201con FaceTime\u201d.<\/p>\n
She said it was \u201ctime for a refresh\u201d and that it was her version of\u201cageing gracefully\u201d.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Vogue Arabia, she said: \u201cI had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh.<\/p>\n
\u201cI decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust because you get older, it doesn\u2019t mean you should give up on yourself.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully \u2013 meaning you don\u2019t want to do anything \u2013 then don\u2019t do anything.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut for me, this is ageing gracefully. It\u2019s my version.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cOf course my daughter Kylie went with me, while Kim was present at all times on FaceTime.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jenner also reflected on the reality TV series that propelled her family to a stratospheric level of fame, and said: \u201cTo be perfectly honest, I never thought the exposure would be harmful.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just thought this was going to be a great journey.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018Buckle your seatbelts, we are in for a wild ride, but we are going to have the time of our lives.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cI was very optimistic, and I\u2019m also a girl who looks at the glass as half full.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were working in our stores in Calabasas, and I thought this would be a great way to give exposure to our business, as it was like an instant focus group.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was an immediate marketing tool and something that could come in handy for other things.<\/p>\n
\u201cI knew this was not a gamble. I also prayed about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got on my knees and I said, \u2018Please Lord, lead me in the right direction,\u2019 and that\u2019s what I still do everyday.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have great spirituality and I\u2019m very confident about my decisions, but I also feel we were led in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, we don\u2019t have any regrets. I don\u2019t live with regrets.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a global \u00adtelevision show in 200 countries and so many languages.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur enormous fanbase is very emotionally invested in the family.<\/p>\n

She also revealed the family holds the editing rights of the show and said: \u201cWe always had these rights, that\u2019s the way I negotiated the deal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wasn\u2019t going to put my family in a vulnerable situation by signing a piece of paper saying they could do whatever they wanted with our image, and we would only see it on TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we quickly realised that the raw moments, the tears and showing our real lives had real value.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe only took something out when we looked bad, or there was a nicer angle.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reflecting on her forthcoming 70th birthday, she said: \u201cI don\u2019t know what 70 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great and I\u2019m happy to be there.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just have to try my best to do what I can to feel good and healthy. My blessing is my family.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf I can be a part of their lives in the best way possible, then I\u2019m thrilled.\u201d<\/p>\n
