The BBC Radio 2 presenter revealed that while one parent will take the \u201cgood cop\u201d role and the other \u201cbad cop\u201d, Kay said that they will alternate their roles to keep their daughters guessing.<\/p>\n
He told <\/em>The Mirror<\/em>: \u201cWe play good cop, bad cop, but alternate the roles. You have to keep \u2019em guessing. They\u2019ll always be my little girls.\u201d<\/p>\nKay added that he and Daly, who co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing <\/em>with Claudia Winkleman, do not put pressure on their children to move towards a \u201ccertain direction\u201d concerning their education.<\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s totally up to them,\u201d he said. \u201cAs a parent, you can only hold their hand and say, \u2018This is right or wrong\u2019 for so long. There\u2019s got to be a point where you take them off the lead and let them discover life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daly was recognised alongside her Strictly <\/em>co-host Winkleman in the King\u2019s Birthday Honours for her services to broadcasting.<\/p>\nIn a tribute shared online, Kay praised Winkleman and the Strictly<\/em> team for \u201cconsistently producing the best show every year\u201d.<\/p>\n\n

Now they\u2019re almost 21 and 16 and we\u2019ve all enjoyed this journey together!!<\/p>\nDaly rose to fame after hosting The Big Breakfast\u2019<\/em>s Find Me A Model <\/em>competition on Channel 4, which aired in 1999.<\/p>\nTo mark her MBE achievement, Daly shared a celebratory photo on Instagram, in which she and the late Bruce Forsyth held their iconic \u201ckeep dancing\u201d pose. She wrote: \u201cIf I could, I would dedicate it to all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of working with over the past 26 years.\u201d<\/p>\n
