\n\tPresident Donald Trump and the first lady wrapped up a second state visit to the U.K. Thursday that was filled with plenty of pageantry, photo-ops, protests and of course, fashion.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe two-day was capped off Thursday for the president with a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and a reception with business leaders at Chequers. Earlier in the day FLOTUS joined the Princess of Wales for activities at Frogmore House at the Windsor Estate with children and Squirrel Scouts from Lewisham. They reportedly involved painting leaves, a parachute game and building bug hotels.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoth Kate Middleton and the first lady blended in to leafy setting. The princess donned an olive green silk-tied blouse and coordinating jacket with a long brown skirt and knee-high brown Gianvito Rossi boots. Trump opted for a Ralph Lauren chestnut-colored suede safari jacket, stone-colored trousers from Loro Piana, and chestnut-colored Roger Vivier flats with the signature buckle.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier Thursday, FLOTUS was also looking autumnal when she joined Queen Camilla for a tour of Queen Mary\u2019s Dolls\u2019 House and the Royal Library. She donned a single-breasted caramel-colored Louis Vuitton leather skirt suit with vanilla-colored trim and Manolo Blahnik snakeskin pumps. Camilla also had an ensemble that was offset with piping \u2014 a white long-sleeve dress with five vertical black lines.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe scene on Wednesday night at Windsor Castle was considerably more opulent, with the Trumps attending a state banquet. For that occasion, FLOTUS donned a crepe off-the-shoulder column gown in sunflower from Carolina Herrera\u2019s Wes Gordon, which was accented with a lilac silk belt with a covered buckle, and light lilac frosted pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Hours before on Wednesday, she chose a charcoal Christian Dior haute couture suit with matching dark gray pumps and a violet wool wide-brimmed hat for a wreath-laying at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II in St. George\u2019s Chapel.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile a navy and white wide-brimmed hat that the American designer Eric Javits designed for FLOTUS for her husband\u2019s second inauguration attracted a lot of analysis on social media, Wednesday\u2019s choice was created by the British milliner Stephen Jones for Christian Dior haute couture. Trump\u2019s color choices, accessories, and attire for the second state visit to the U.K. might seem reminiscent of both the late Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s pastel preferences and the woody side of English country life.<\/p>\n

She was similarly dressed to travel for Thursday\u2019s departure in the aforementioned Ralph Lauren safari jacket and Loro Piana pants. There were anti-Trump protests during the Trumps\u2019 two-day stay, including one that featured a projection of Trump with the late Jeffrey Epstein on Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n
