They spend time with him, and they have a good time; they spend time with me, and they have a good time,\u201d she said. \u201cI want to make sure I\u2019m always fair about the situation because it\u2019s tough to grow up with divorced parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, during an episode of his <em>Nick Cannon @ Night<\/em> podcast in August, Cannon said he doesn\u2019t believe in the term \u201cco-parenting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe label co-parenting, I\u2019ve always kind of had an issue,\u201d Cannon said. \u201cBecause why do we have to have the co, we\u2019re just parents. When you start throwing labels on things, I think it does more harm than help and can get very dangerous, because then everybody else has a preconceived notion of what you&#8217;re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He confessed that while he hasn\u2019t \u201cfigured out\u201d how to raise his children with a half-dozen women, he approaches it with a certain perspective.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I just step into every situation with respect and compassion and individuality,\u201d Cannon explained. \u201cThat&#8217;s the other thing I always do with anyone I&#8217;m involved with in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say he doesn\u2019t \u201cbunch\u201d the mothers of his 12 children together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really try my hardest not to be like, \u2018Oh yeah, my baby mamas,\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cUnless I\u2019m telling a joke or something like that, but no one wants to be grouped into anything.
