Alessandra Rich Spring 2026 Ready to Wear, Fashion Show & Collection Review
Alessandra Rich returned to London to present her spring 2026 collection at no other place than her art-filled home on Mount Street in Mayfair. The location was a great indicator of what to expect: a romantic, sensual and mischievous wardrobe for the Bright Young Things of today.
“It is more natural to me, lying down,” the designer quoted American author Sylvia Plath’s poem “I Am Vertical,” to express a sense of objection to the qualities the society at the time would expect a woman to uphold. But the Alessandra Rich girl is not afraid to break away from that. She a master in the game of seduction, playing coy and dressing demurely to secure her place in the world of men.
Building on that narrative, this season’s range referenced shapes and details from the Roaring 1920s, but at its core, it was still unmistakably Alessandra Rich with the use of luxurious stretch lace, velvet and silk satin on seductive yet tasteful creations, some adorned with skinny bows and some with her signature soft padded shoulders.
The collection also included polka dot designs — a classic seen on the Princess of Wales on multiple occasions — requested by buyers, despite Rich’s preference to move away from them. Every season, she said, she recalibrates the polka dot patterns by changing arrangements, color combinations and sizes to keep them fresh.
