Celebrities Front Row at Mugler Spring 2026 Ready to Wear Fashion
SHOWTIME: The stars turned out in force Thursday for Miguel Castro Freitas’ debut at Mugler. Elizabeth Berkley, attending with husband Greg Lauren, is a big fan. “The minute I put this on, it fit really well, and the beauty of the design…,” she enthused, highlighting her black tailored look. “I cannot wait to witness what Miguel is going to do with his first collection.”
Berkley was also thrilled to catch up with fellow attendee Naomi Watts, one of her costars on Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama “All’s Fair,” out in November. “I actually wish I could have worn this in that show, it’s very stylized, because Ryan Murphy of course pays such great attention to detail and fashion and character,” she said.
Next up for Berkley is a series of events with Live Nation to celebrate the 30th anniversary of cult classic “Showgirls,” starting next week in Austin. “I will be in conversation and be able to share part of the journey that people don’t know,” she said. “There are people that come up to me in their 20s that are discovering it for the first time, and they don’t know the impact or some of the controversy in the ‘90s because it’s so much of a nonissue now. So many creatives are drawing inspiration from the film,” she said. “It’s fascinating.”
Watts explained why she has been such a front-row fixture this season — the presence of her daughter Kai Schreiber on the runway. “I’m very proud, she’s worked really hard,” she said. “She’s a trained dancer and has wanted this for a very long time. I’ve watched it happen in my kitchen for a good decade. She’s a really strong walker and she has the discipline and purpose, and she is passionate about fashion, she knows all the shows of every decade, every year, every designer. She could tell you the music, the models, everything,” said the proud mom.
It turns out Watts almost went into fashion herself. “I’ve always loved fashion, well before I was able to spend money on fashion. I was going to start in the fashion industry. At 19 I had a job as a fashion assistant for a magazine called Follow Me, an Australian high fashion magazine,” she said. In the end, acting took precedence. “I think I was denying a dream that was bigger, which was to act and tell stories,” she said.
Another storyteller in the front row was Pamela Anderson, who has been showcasing her new cropped copper locks this week in Paris. “I’m preparing for a film, and so I was playing with the color. We decided the color and we had our little references, Marlène Jobert, so why not get it done in France at a great French hairdresser, because it’s inspired by French cinema,” she said. Don’t expect the new look to be permanent, though. “I’m just having fun playing with it, it’s going to be different every day,” Anderson said.
Chinese musician Cai Xukun, known professionally as Kun, was digging the dark atmosphere at Mugler. “I’m very excited for the show, it looks very grungy here,” he said. He was sporting a black leather jacket, which he described as his go-to look. “That’s my vibe.” Cai had just landed from Los Angeles, where he has been recording new music, and was feeling jetlagged. “I’m dropping the next single pretty soon, and it’s very different from what I created before,” he revealed.
