Tim Love Launches Creative Content Studio CF Holdings
LONDON — Tim Love, filmmaker and founder of advertising agency CFH, has merged his company with 9-16, an agency with social media expertise, to launch creative content studio CF Holdings.
Love founded CFH in 2017, and has produced campaigns and films for brands such as Stella McCartney, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Bentley, and Aman Hotels.
“I started CFH eight years ago,” said Love. “We started making films centered around craft. It’s always been a key part of the work we do, just now we work with some of the world’s best crafts people. From Foster + Partners to family-run leather factories in the hills of Italy, it’s a part of the studio and always will be.”

Love said that the merger was driven by client demand. “Our clients asked for it; they want elevated, social-first content with strong creative behind it. It’s a natural next step and part of our offering,” he said.
He argued that the merger will strengthen the company’s ability to promote its clients on social media, and said there is more to come.
“I see the vertical content we produce living far beyond TikTok or Instagram, it needs to exist in the real world: on screens, in stores, and on billboards,” he added.

The newly-formed company already has plenty in the works.
“Next week, we’re shooting the launch assets for a hotel; we have a team heading off to launch a new island; and I’m obsessed with a project for a luxury brand centred around color,” he said.
Love also alluded to another company joining CF Holdings soon, although he did not disclose the name.
